The menus above
are a guide and can
be adapted to suit your specific
requirements. If you are interested in this
service please email me at hello@bistrolabarrique.co.uk
with your enquiry, providing some outline
details : date, location, number of guests,
occasion, initial thoughts as to
requirements, together with your day and
evening contact telephone numbers, so that I
can call you back to discuss further.
For practical reasons, travelling distance would need
to be limited to a maximum 10-15 mile radius
around
Bath.
Outside Catering in Bath
Looking for that intimate private
celebration with a certain ‘je ne sais quoi’
for the added ingredient? If so, maybe
Michel can help. Let me organize all the
catering for your event to make it a truly
special occasion – typically for 20-30
people. Email me (hello@bistrolabarrique.co.uk)
initially with some basic information: the nature of the celebration,
where it will be held, some details of
the kitchen arrangements, also for how many
people, type of menu required, plus the
date, timings and your contact details:
email and day/eve phone numbers.
Cookery demonstrations
Michel is passionate about the food he
creates and loves nothing more than to share
this passion with an audience, large or
small. Most recently he was up at London
Olympia for The France Show in January 2015.

Private parties at our restaurant in central Bath
Our centrally-located Bath restaurant is
available as a venue for parties, wedding
receptions, corporate entertainment, special
events and private hire.
The restaurant can cater for up to 30 on the
ground floor, plus an additional 18 on the
lower ground floor which can be reserved for
your exclusive use. Plus, on fine weather
days, we can accommodate a further 20 in our
secluded rear courtyard.
Originally studying cookery in his native
France and first working in Paris, Michel
came to London in the 1980s to work with
such illustrious names as the Roux Brothers,
Alistair Little, and with Simon Hopkinson at
Bibendum.
Moving to the West Country in the 90s,
Michel joined Bristol’s Glass Boat as head
chef. By 1998 he had become a partner in
Byzantium and then went on to build a
reputation for quality French bistro cuisine
as proprietor of the highly-regarded No.5
restaurant in Bath. He set up Bath's now celebrated Bistro La Barrique French restaurant in 2008.
